Kids Hour: Book Club (English) Saturday, January 20 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Apple Bayshore Shopping Centre In this Kids Hour, we’ll be reading Scaredy Squirrel at Night on iBooks. We’ll celebrate the magic of storytelling through creativity and play. Kids will get hands-on with drawing characters and scenes, creating their own book cover and more, using iPad Pro and Apple Pencil. They can bring their iPad or we’ll provide one. Recommended for ages 4-10. Sketch Walks: Observational Drawings (English) Saturday, January 20 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Apple Bayshore Shopping Centre Bring your iPad Pro and Apple Pencil for an inspiring walk focused on sketching the people, objects and places around you. We’ll practice basic techniques, and share tips on how to observe and draw what you see. Wear comfortable shoes and bring only what you need — including fully charged devices. Music Lab: Developing Your Sound by RZA (English) Saturday, January 20 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Apple Bayshore Shopping Centre Explore how to develop your sound inspired by rapper, record producer and Wu-Tang Clan frontman RZA. We’ll share how RZA developed his trademark beats that revolutionized hip-hop in the 1990s. You’ll brainstorm and sketch out ideas to create your music story and sound profile. Then you’ll get hands on with ROLI Blocks, GarageBand on iPad Pro and more to find your unique sound. Accessibility Basics: Using Apple Watch with Vision Loss (English) Sunday, January 21 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Apple Bayshore Shopping Centre For people with vision loss, Apple Watch offers helpful vision-based technologies. Join us to discover how to select the Extra-Large Watch Face–making it easier to see the time. We'll show you the Zoom feature, how to adjust font size, and how to reduce motion for easier visual tracking. Video Photo Walks: Capturing Action and Video (English) Sunday, January 21 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Apple Bayshore Shopping Centre From the winning goal to an impromptu dance party, we’ll explore inspiring ways to capture exciting moments with iPhone or iPad. We’ll share techniques for setting up the shot, so you don’t miss a thing. Then we’ll show you how to edit photos and create sharable moments with Live Photo effects and new filters. Wear comfortable shoes and bring only what you need—including a fully charged device. Hour of Code How To: Program Robots with Swift Playgrounds (English) Sunday, January 21 2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. Apple Bayshore Shopping Centre Bring robots to life in a hands-on session featuring MeeBot and Swift Playgrounds. Learn coding concepts and explore how to program MeeBot robots using Swift Playgrounds — an app for iPad that makes it fun to learn and experiment with real Swift code. Bring your own iPad running iOS 10 or later, or we’ll provide one. Recommended for ages 12 and up.

We’ll show you when and where you’ll need to use your Apple ID and all the great content you can access. Discover more about iCloud and how it keeps the latest versions of what’s important — like photos, documents, apps, notes and contacts — on all your devices. Video Studio Hours: Video Projects (English) Monday, January 22 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Apple Bayshore Shopping Centre This 90-minute work session is dedicated to working with video. Bring your iPhone, iPad, or Mac and your movie project. Our Creatives can help you edit clips in iMovie, add effects using Final Cut Pro X, and share tips on capturing great video.
